Privacy
Short version: we store what you put into SprintNudge to run your retrospectives, analytics are optional and never include what you write, and you can export or delete your data at any time.
What we store
- Your account: name, email and avatar from sign-in, used to show who you are on identified cards and to send notifications you opt into.
- Your retrospectives: cards, votes, comments, decisions and action items, visible to the people on your team according to each board's settings.
- Feedback you send through the Feedback button, so we can read it and improve the product.
Anonymous boards
On anonymous boards, card authors are hidden from everyone, including facilitators, and authorship is unlinked permanently when the retrospective finishes. Times shown for anonymous cards are rounded so they can't be matched to a person.
Optional analytics
If you allow analytics, we use Mixpanel to understand how SprintNudge is used, for example how many retrospectives finish with an owned action item. We only start measuring after you choose "Allow analytics".
- We measure page views and product events (a retro was created, a first card was added, a retro finished).
- Events are tied to an internal account ID. They never include card text, comments, decisions, names, emails or invite links, and Mixpanel is told not to store your IP address or use it for location.
- On anonymous boards, and for all votes, event times are rounded to the hour.
- You can change your mind any time: on this site, or "Usage analytics" on your profile in the app.
Your choices
- Export your data from your profile in the app.
- Delete your account from your profile. Your feedback and analytics consent are deleted with it.
Sharing
We don't sell your data. We use service providers to run SprintNudge (hosting, sign-in, database and, if you allow it, analytics), and integrations such as Jira or GitHub only receive what you choose to send them.
